Jeffrey Robert Nadro Sr., 64, a longtime resident of Stamford passed away Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Stamford Hospital surrounded by his loving family after a long battle with cancer. Jeff was an active adult volunteer with BSA Troop 9, helping to support the troop and his two sons Jeffrey Jr, and David throughout their scouting careers. Jeff was an avid outdoors‐man and fisherman, who loved camping out, white water rafting and backpacking trips. Jeff braved many winter Klondikes and helped teach our scouts outdoor skills. Jeff shared his professional skills as a plumber with the troop, both teaching and mentoring scouts in earning merit badges and help to maintain our camping gear. Jeff will be missed by all who had the chance to meet and share the trail with him. Rest in Peace.
